I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Varbalow's passing. I remember him well as he was my Biology teacher. He was such a nice man and a good teacher. I pray for comfort for his loved ones and friends. May he rest in peace 'til we meet again.

I remember Mr. and Mrs. Varbalow fondly but how could he have been 63? I was in the class of '67 and I am now 65.

The obit was from the 1980's.

Yes, this is an older obituary, but it's always good to remember and honor such a fine teacher. When I've come across old class notes, I'm surprised at all the material we covered. I have fond memories of Biology Club too... sterile agar gel and pea seeds! The instruction and encouragement I received from Mr. Varbalow helped motivate me towards a career in biology.
