Beth and I wotked in the math office at Olney High and I helped her with algebra.  What a sweet, beautiful girl she was! I'm so sorry to see that she died so young before having an opportunity to experience all the joys of life. If anyone (Sue Shapiro, for example) knows what she did after high school and Millersville State College and the circumstances of her death, please post here or send me a message. (Update 5/13/16 - a few people responded to my question so no further responses needed.)

I went thru Sunday school, church choir, confirmation class, Pennypacker, Wagner, and Olney. Still to this day I think of Beth and of her tragic death. She was a good friend and was and still is missed to this day.

Beth was a beauty inside and out - sweet, funny, and kind.  We traveled in the same circle of friends for a few years, and dated a couple of times but never got serious.  When I heard of her passing, it was devastating to me, and naturally, it made me think of what could have been. There's no doubt that this beautiful woman is enjoying her heavenly home, and I look forward to seeing her again someday.

I didn't know her, but I knew her husband.  He went to the same grade school as me and lived the next block down from me.  I heard about what happened to Beth Suttie at one of our class reunions and was very upset and still am.  She sounds like she was a nice girl; well liked.  May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of her death. Saw her in school and she was so nice and always was smiling. What was odd-all the mentions of how terrible she died. What is all that?  Hinda

Since it seems there are some classmates that are unaware of the circumstances under which Beth Suttie passed away, Beth was murdered. She was about 23 years old at the time of her death.
