School Story:
After leaving Olney,, I attended Community College of Philadelphia. After two years and a couple of failed courses I had no degree and dropped out.
Had a series of jobs including artist in a publishing firm, a receiving clerk, and a factory worker building semi-trailers.
I decided that was not for me and attended Penn State University and graduated in 1979 BS in Meteorology.
After graduation I worked as a contractor at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA Langley Space Center and at NOAA. The latter resulted in a civil servant position at the National Weather Service Headquarters in Silver Spring MD as a GIS specialist.
I retired from federal service as of 1/1/2017.
