In Memory

Susan Keashon (Baker)

Susan Keashon (Baker)

Susan Ellen Baker

It is with profound sadness that the family of Susan E. Baker announces her passing on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Susan was of Langhorne, PA, and 72 years old. Born on October 31, 1949, in Philadelphia, Susan was the daughter of the late John Keashon and Evelyn Winters.

Susan is survived by her two loving children, David T. Baker and Amanda Capriotti, and son in law, Mario Capriotti. She was the beloved grandmother to Leo and Evelyn Capriotti, and dear sister to John and Suzanne Keashon. Susan was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, David R. Baker. She is lovingly remembered by a lifetime of friends, family, and colleagues.

Susan was a beautiful soul, inside and out. She enjoyed reading voraciously, going to the beach, playing cards, learning all she could, and dancing with grace and style. Susan will always be remembered for how brilliant she was. You could always count on her to know all the right answers when watching Jeopardy! as a family. In addition to her brilliance, Susan was an accomplished professional dancer, having trained, performed, and taught ballroom dancing for more than 20 years. Watching Susan dance and compete brought joy to so many in her life. As she grew older, she truly cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, as well as her childhood friends from Franklin, Creighton, and Olney. She will forever be remembered by all for her gracefulness and strength, both in body and spirit.

Family and friends are invited to Susan's Life Celebration on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, 378 S. Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047. Her Memorial Service will be held immediately afterward at 3:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Susan's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or by visiting st.jude.org.
