I moved to the Olney area in 1960 and attended Clara Barton Elementary with Rose and we became good friends.  My family also frequented the Fong's Laundry and knew her parents and brother.

The last time I saw Rose was at the 20th Class Reunion and we sat at the same table and chatted about our lives and what we had done since graduation.  Rose was always positive, friendly, and always had a smile. So sorry to hear of her passing and want to convey my condolences along to her family. I will always have great memories of the times we shared.  "RIP OLD FRIEND" you will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Rose's passing.  She was a wonderful person--kind, sweet and always had a beautiful smile to offer.  We shared several classes and were in the school musical together.  We both had a tap dance routine and performed it well!  I reget that we lost touch after high school.  My heart is heavy for Rose's family.  RIP dear Rose.

I was so sorry to hear of Rose's passing.  I read this notice awhile ago, but for some reason refused to believe it.  She was just too young. I guess at this point, it is the sad reality that we are beginning to lose many of our classmates.

Rose was a lovely girl - full of life and always facing the world with a big smile. We went to Barton together and on to Olney. Prayers for Rose and for her family.
