It's with a heavy heart that I must share the sad news of the passing of Linda Toner Hedgepeth.  I just got the phone call from her husband Bob, who was by her side when she passed.
Linda was one of my best friends, and I will always remember the good times we shared over the 55 years I knew her.

Godspeed Linda on your next journey....  I will miss you!

I've just lost my high school reunion dance partner and a very dear friend. There's no doubt she's in heaven after having struggled with so many health issues here on earth.  We'd laugh and chat on the phone long distance for so long just talking about the old days that inevitably my cell battery would go dead.

I was on top of a mountain in the Pocono's snow tubing with the grandson's.  We were huffing and puffing from draging this darn big snow tube in the bitter cold and wind.  She called to say her health had taken a turn for the worse.and I couldn't talk. Hope she forgives me.

Time is catching up to all of us, it is true when someone you know from high school passes. Linda Toner and I were friends in high school and kind of lost touch with each other over the years. Linda's mom only lived two doors from me on Colgate street, and I would see Linda when she would come to see her mom. I did move from Colgate street and then we really did not keep in touch. Our lives take twists and turns, and we mean to stay in touch, till the passing of an old friend leaves us. Saddened to hear of LInda's passing, but I will remember that big happy smile of hers. May God give you peace in your passing and your family.
