Ron Boyd, died at the age of 41 on , October 17, 1991. He was a reporter, editor, columnist and critic and worked as a television and art critic at the Dallas Times Herald.
Ron was a nice person. He was smart and funny and I have thought of him often since HS. I also knew him at Temple U. I rememeber one day when we went downtown together to hear Bobby Kenenedy Talk. And several bus trips to DC to protest the war with a College professor. Better grade if you went along. LOL I would have liked ot see him again.
First, I would like to convey my sincere condolences to the Boyd Family. Ronald was a really nice guy! I sat next to Ronald in our 11th grade History class. Our history teacher was quite impressed with Ronald's answer to a question on our first day of class. The question was "What is the most important thing in our country in 1966?". Ronald answered without hestitation, " We, the young people of this country." Our instructor appeared to be absolutely shocked and amazed at the same time. From that moment I knew he was a smart guy!
