Comments:

Married to my High School sweetheart. Have been married 46 years this October 17th. Lived in Lawncrest until 1975(Lardner Street then Vankirk Street) then Olney for 12 years (7th & Nedro) before moving to Abington. Worked as a bookkeeper for 30+ years, have since retired at 62. We have three children & five grandchildren, Emily Baile (13), Justin Baile (9) born to Denielle & Shawn Baile, Jeffrey Crompton (7) to Denise Burke Crompton & Identical twin boys, Darren Hudson Burke & Jagger Hudson Burke, born to D.J. & Lindsay Hudson Burke, (born January 22nd 2014). We enjoy the time spent with our kids and grandchildren and are greatful that they still want to spend time with us. We have traveled the US, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Bahamas a lot in our earlier days, now we spend most of our free time at the shore. Recently sold our home in the Pocanos so free to travel where ever we want. Enjoy some of the same things we did in high school, music and dance and have had the same close friends for over 50+ years. Reunited with about 40+ high school friends since the reunions and are enjoying the contact I have now with them. Seems like yesterday, those Olney days & remembering the good times.

School Story:

Wasn't the best student, & looking back I should have tried harder, but High School was the best of times. I went to school mostly for the friends, sports & after school activities. Varsity teens was my biggest outlet, cheerleading, gymnastics, tennis, & other activities kept me out of trouble. The weekends were spent mostly at dances, Wagners on Broad street is were most of my High school friends met up. Even were I saw my husband (Dennis Burke-class of 1968)for the 1st time. Had some great teachers who helped me make high school classes worth going to. Always been interest in American History & thanks to those teachers I actually learned something I still remember today. Math was good too, never did get Geometry right, thanks to Mr. Baker, I got through it & he took pitty on me. Those were the good old days & the best!

Margie was a sweetheart.  She's dealt with a lot of health issues, and she's at peace now.

All the best to her family and friends.
