WOODLEAF - Joyce Ann Wilderman, 55, of 220 Fourth Creek Drive, Woodleaf, went to be with the Lord on Sunday (Oct. 23, 2005) at Rowan Regional Medical Center from complications associated with cancer. Mrs. Wilderman was born on Oct. 30, 1949 in Philadelphia , Pa. to the late Marie Schafer Taylor and James Lester Taylor, Sr. She was educated in the Philadelphia , Pa. schools and was employed as a Payroll Clerk, bookkeeper and was also a homemaker. Mrs. Wilderman was a member of Gays Chapel United Methodist Church, the Harry Steele Bible Class, member of the church choir and the United Methodist Women - Parker Guild. Survivors include her husband, Jules P. Wilderman, whom she married Jan. 13, 1968; son Mark Wilderman and wife Cheryl of Fayetteville; sister Sandy Taylor Morrison and husband John of Woodleaf; brothers James L. Taylor, Jr. and wife Kim of Woodleaf, Edward R. Taylor and wife Nicole of Cleveland; sister Linda Taylor Steele of Salisbury; grandchildren Jordan and Hayley Wilderman of Fayetteville. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gays Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Jordan, officiating. Mrs. Wilderman will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial: Rowan Memorial Park. Visitation: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Summersett Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the residence of her sister Sandy Morrison, 530 St. Andrews Church Road, Woodleaf Memorials: Gays Chapel United Methodist Church 's United Methodist Women - Parker Guild, 5545 Woodleaf Road, Salisbury, NC 28147 Summersett Funeral Home is assisting the Wilderman family.
