Linda Ruffer WASHINGTON -- Linda Caroline Ruffer died May 23, 1998, at Easton Hospital in Easton, Pa. She was 48. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she was a daughter of Alberta C. Yeager and James S. Davis Sr. of Roslyn, Pa. She was the assistant manager of Family Pizza in Washington, before retiring. She also worked at the Wayfarer Restaurant in Washington Township for many years. She attended Mansfield Baptist Church in Port Murray. She is survived by her husband, Stephen A. Ruffer; a daughter, Cynthia Knox of Pennsylvania; a son, Thomas J. Costello of Pennsylvania; a sister, Elizabeth Davis of Washington, six brothers, James Davis Jr. and John Davis both of Roslyn, Pa., Timothy Davis and Daniel Davis, both of Philadelphia, Pa., David Davis of Lansdale, Pa., and Stephen Davis of Romania; and 28 nieces and nephews. Services were held on May 27, at Mansfield Baptist Church in Port Murray. Burial was in Port Murray Cemetery.
