Bob Risner

Robert H. Risner (Bob), 73 of Plymouth passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 9th at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, in Plymouth
.
Bob was born November 5, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA to Wesley & Inga Risner, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by brothers Wayne & Warren Risner.

Bob is a 1966 graduate of Olney High School and attended SUNY.

He joined the Army in 1967, proudly serving for over 40 years. He was a patriot above all else.

Bob is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sally, his son Bob Urichuk and his wife Janice of Plymouth, his son Rob Christine, and his wife Diana of NY, his daughter Susan Rossi and her husband David of Stoneham, daughter Jennifer Trapeno and her husband Brian of Bridgewater, and his sister Helen Dyer and husband Mike, of Colorado.
Bob is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews, and friends, near and far.

His greatest pleasure was being with family and friends. Each year he looked forward to his vacation in the Bahamas with his “Freeport family”.

To know Bob, was to love him. He is described by many as simply “a good man”. Bob never failed to make sure those in his life always felt the true depth of his love for them. He truly cherished his family and friends.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 16th, from 4-6 pm. interment will follow on Thursday at MA National Cemetery.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing, totally in shock-what a great guy-thank you Bob for your service to your country, rest in peace my friend -thoughts & prayers to his family

Brought back memories of our class trip-our infamous bus #3 breakdown.  Bob was on our bus and made the hours waiting for a replacement so much fun!  Sad.
